Ecochlor Ballast Water Treatment

Installation

Ecochlor’s Ballast Water Treatment
Systems are ideally suited for installation on
the largest bulker sand tankers in the world.

Installation

The Ecochlor ClO2 Treatment module is self contained, fully automated, and is suitable for new construction or retro-fits. This module can be located nearly anywhere on the vessel and does not need to be located in the engine room. In the engine room, only the filtration system and a small spool piece (for a flow meter and a chemical injection point) are installed in the main ballast line.

Ecochlor has complete installation design specification and drawing packages for the world’s largest ships developed in conjunction with prominent shipbuilders and classification societies.
